Who are we?

True North Picture Source operates from a little old mill-town in West Yorkshire, UK. Surrounded by the Pennine Hills, Hebden Bridge is sufficiently picturesque to attract visitors wanting 'a day out'. It enjoys very good communications with all parts of the North, and is surrounded by some of the most beautiful landscapes in England.
This is our 'patch' and the picture collection reflects the life and landscape of this fascinating region. The principal locations are Yorkshire, Lancashire, Cumbria, Durham and Cleveland, including the Yorkshire Dales, North York Moors and Lake District National Parks.

What do we do?

We sell 'stock photos/photography' to a wide range of clients, including book and magazine publishers, environmental organisations, tourism bodies, graphic designers and advertising agencies.
The collection numbers 30,000 images (and rising...) on fine-grained Fujichrome transparency film: 35mm & medium format. They cover a wide variety of subjects and locations, and are ideal for quality reproduction.

What we can do for you ...

When you commission a photos/photographer to shoot landscape and location pictures, you can't always guarantee the results. But stock photos/photography already exists . You can preview a selection of stock pictures and - if any meet your particular needs - pay a reproduction fee for the images you actually use.
We understand that clients want to see pictures 'yesterday', and your phone call (or email ) will get a speedy response. If we have pictures that match your request, we will send a selection of original transparencies to you without delay. We have an A-Z list of locations for your convenience, and examples of our photography can be seen on the Gallery pages.
